POST-WHITENING SUGGESTIONS
We suggest you avoid consuming coffee, tea, wine, tobacco products and soda for at least 24 hours after product use.  Drinking liquids through a straw will help to protect your teeth from new stains.  As always, see your dentist regularly and follow their recommended oral hygiene regimine.

When not in use, keep custom tray and remainder of gel away from light and store in a dry, cool place such as a refrigerater.  Do not leave in car or anywhere not climate-controlled.

OCCASIONAL SIDE EFFECTS
According to Zachary Hilgers, DDS (retired), "The temporary occasional minor side effects of teeth bleaching are slight gingival (gums) swelling, soreness, whiteness or redness.  Also, the teeth may become sensitive during and/or after using any teeth whitening product.  Typically, these minor effects are short-lived, and not harmful, and should subside within 24-48 hours.  Any short-term sensitivity or discomfort may be reduced or eliminated by the use of Orajel or similar product on the gums, or a desensitizing toothpaste, such as Sensodyne, applied to the teeth, and can be coupled with over-the-counter analgesics (pain reliever) if needed.  If your discomfort persists, is severe, worsens, or you become concerned at anytime, you should consult your dentist immediately."
